CAMP SUMMER SCIENCE Camp Summer Science at the SEE Science Center is a one-week science based camp filled with hands-on science exploration! For kids entering grades 3 to 6 in the fall. Chemistry demonstration, by camp director Becky Mayhew on Family Day at Camp Summer Science 2006. Camp Summer Science 2008 is available either July 21st - 25th OR July 28th -Aug. 1st Camp meets Monday through Friday 9am - 3:30pm each day. (Aftercare is available until 5:30pm Mon.- Thurs. for an extra fee.) Summer 2008 Programs (all 4 programs in each week): Lights & Optics: An illuminating and hands-on look at light. Energy: An energizing exploration of the properties and power of energy. If I Ran the Science Center: Campers will get a behind the scenes look at the SEE Science Center and work as an exhibit building team to propose and design and exhibit for the center. Reverse Engineering: Instead of putting it together, it is now time to take it apart or "reverse the engineering". Campers will get a chance to disassemble an object to see what makes it work.
