Our popular temporary exhibit entitled Dinosaurs! closed on Sunday, May 13th. In its four month run, thousands of people both child and adult visited and were awed by this exhibit.
Based on actual fossil evidence, the dinosaurs are accurately proportioned in shape and scale and are lifelike in movement. These magnificent creatures were displayed in habitats consistent with scientific theories and were displayed walking, eating, and nurturing their young. Technologically state-of-the-art computer controls enhance their lifelike appearance. In addition, the exhibit featured a dinosaur hands-on area allowing visitors to actually control a dinosaur, a dino theater with video presentations and an all-dino gift shop.
Dinosaurs! served as a major fundraiser for the SEE Science Center and all proceeds from its run will benefit the programs this non profit science center.
